Michael Marlatt has invited me to join his Think Tank and I happily accepted. I am to be one of ten founding members.

I’m not sure who else has accepted his invitation but the list of people Michael shared with me is impressive. So too are his plans for a new site: CloudRecruiting.net. All good stuff.

Michael and I have been exchanging notes on a variety of topics surrounding recruiting and emerging technologies since the Spring. We finally shared some time in person at the recent SourceCon 2008 where Michael was undoubtedly the star of the show:

“At SourceCon 2008 Michael was among the top-rated speakers. His unique delivery of Sourcing Beyond Recruiting 2.0: The Emergence of Cloud Recruiting resonated with his audience on many levels. For professionals who live and die by understanding how to effectively leverage the latest technology to gain competitive advantage — Michael’s presentation was life-affirming.”

Stay posted. Michael and I will be hatching some plans in the next year or so including some joint ventures on the training front.
